Its only been a week, and I already miss her. This will be the second year of winter storage. Its what I want to do, but it just sucks being away from her. She's safe, warm, and resting, but I miss opening the garage everyday and being greeted by her. Dammit, I just want winter to be over.

Have a song that reminds me of her. (Fitting, isn't it?)

You could just move to Florida. No snow = no need for winter storage.

But...then you'd have to live in Florida. As a Florida resident, I can confirm that this is a considerable downside.

Oh, I know. I'm glad I got it into storage while I could. Weather is getting really nasty. Like I said, though, I just can't help but miss seeing her every day.

Lol, nope. It actually gets sent 120 miles north to a COLDER climate, if that makes sense. It spends the winter all covered up and cozy in my grandparents' garage. She's got a hard a hard life, I know.

1/ drive it in snow (yes i've mentioned it to you before , i know what your response is)

2/ move to a location that doesn't get snow

Haha that's awesome. Mine's due for a clutch (and aluminum flywheel) along with PS pump this winter, maybe some other stuff if I scrape up the money while cursing myself for hardly negotiating the price for the car, and then will sit in the garage while other cars fight a losing battle against salt, pot holes, and sand.

Hurricanes are only bad once and a while, and alligators don't bother you if you don't bother them. Florida residents though...you have to interact with them everyday. That's where 99% of your downside is going to come from.

Ah, gotcha. Yeah, when I get mine back in the spring, I might get my intake manifold gaskets done. Good to hear that she'll be spared from winter.

What do you mean by negotiating the price of the car? Are you planning on selling it?

Yeah. That's why I'm sparing her from winter. Even though she's fiberglass, the salt would trash the underbody.

I always found Eckler's to be a bit overpriced for the same stuff as CA. Just my experience though.

Huh, really? I've found them to be pretty decent. Customer service isn't too good, but, otherwise, I've been pretty satisfied.
